She’s actually about to swat at her tail, poor cat still does it when stressed, frustrated or bored. We thought it was a food allergy at first but despite all our attempts we have only been able to alleviate the issue. I believe that the chasing is now behavioral issue where the actual act feeds upon itself, even if it was initially caused by a medical allergy. Something like her getting a high or good feelings of release when she can chase a tail. The raw diet helped calm her down even though shes as energetic as ever! Combine that with lots of love, chases and kitty playtime and we have managed to keep her tail nice and fluffy. whatever her issues we love her soooo much and she’s totally worth it.
